Who We Are

Don Bosco Tech is a special intervention by which unskilled laborers are transformed into skilled laborers through short term skill training with placement assistance. India’s fast-growing economy presents a paradox—while job opportunities are on the rise, many remain unfilled due to a lack of skilled workers. This mismatch has led to increasing unemployment, keeping millions trapped in poverty despite the abundance of opportunities. A significant challenge lies in education—only about a third of students who begin primary school eventually reach the degree level. As a result, a vast number of school dropouts struggle to secure sustainable employment. Don Bosco Tech Society (DB Tech) addresses this pressing issue with a market-driven skill development approach that caters to the socio-economic needs of marginalized youth aged 18-35 years. With a nationwide network of 150+ skill training centers, we bridge the gap between unskilled youth and the evolving job market, ensuring they are not left behind in the changing economy. Through livelihood training, soft skills development, and mentorship, DB Tech empowers youth with the right skills for employment, providing them with a pathway to economic security. By collaborating with multiple stakeholders, we work towards mainstreaming underprivileged youth into productive careers, helping them break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.
